First Step In Faith

FAITHFULNESS IS A RESPONSIBILITY

We need to take that first step in faith and forget about our fear and what others may think. After we step out in faith showing we do believe and knowing God can make a difference through us, we will see our job was to just take the first step so God could handle the rest. We can count on Him to make the difference He wants to make when we are faithful handling the little things as well as the big.

Luke 16:10 "If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities." (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know You are mighty and powerful. We know You have the ability to do all things. Help us today to take that first step and have faith in You. Help us to remember to be faithful in the small things and trust in You knowing You will give us more responsibilities. As our responsibilities increase, so should our faith. Thank You, Lord, for the power and strength You will give us. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Faithfulness is a responsibility to God showing Him and others we completely trust in Him.

When we are faithful, we speak out about God's word to others.

When we are faithful, we put our trust in God in the good times and bad.

When we are faithful, we have faith in God in the small things as well as the big ones.

Those of us who know God have a responsibility to share His word with others.

Isaiah 7:9b "Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm." (NLT)

Focus: We are called to be faithful followers of Christ. We are to lean on God trusting in Him in all things.
