BECAUSE OF JESUS

If we took a minute to imagine the life of those who have to work in the dirtiest of dirt, we would probably be a little grateful they help us keep our world clean. There are those who carry away our garbage. There are those who clean the streets. There are those who work to remove the dirt and grime from the very things we need cleaned in order to better live. Because of them, we don’t have to live in filth. However, as hard as they do work, it doesn’t near compare to what Jesus did for us. We have Jesus who gave up His life for our sins. He came to die to cleanse our very souls. His death rescued us from evil and from every kind of sin so we can have cleansing that will allow us to live in eternity with Him.

SCRIPTURE:
Galatians 1:4 “Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. List what Jesus went through for our sins.
2. Write about how He was crucified and why.
3. Know Jesus’ purpose was to die for all of us.
4. Turn from your sin, go to Jesus and accept Him into your heart completely.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for Jesus. Thank You for Your Son You sent to us in order that we may live. His death cleansed us from sin. His death gives us eternal life. We are so grateful for what You did by giving Him up and for what He did by suffering and dying for us in a way no one else has. Help us to remember the importance of the cross and what it is You want us to do. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
God allowed His Son, Jesus, to live and to die so we may have eternal life.

No matter how sinful and filthy we are from this world, Jesus died for every sin we have and we can live clean because of Him.

God wants us to come to know Him and His love for us and how much He cares for us.

Jesus knew His death was going to be hard yet He did it anyway because He wanted us to live.

Jesus gave His life away and took on our sins at the cross so we could be free.

FOCUS:
Titus 2:14 “He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.” (NLT)

Thank God for His Son who died for us and that we can become clean because of Him.
