The changing seasons remind us that nothing lasts.
The turning leaves fall, though lovely, are signs of death and decay.
In much the way, all earthly life must end. There is nothing to fear from such changes.
They are a part of the natural order of things. When we face changes that trouble us, we need only turn to the one who is unchanging –God. Our faith in God and God’s word will give us strength to weather the inevitable changes we must face, even the final transition from life to death to eternal life.
