When we all join recovery it doesn't mean that from now on that any one of us will become immune to life and all its problems, on the contrary we are all going to be immersed in it like none of us have ever been before and for some of us this can be quite overwhelming. Life doesn't end for any of us when we begin recovery, just life as we know it does, but life itself with all the ups and downs and all its problems continues. What's different for all of us now that we're in recovery is how we handle life now with all these ups and downs that are part of everyone's life. None of us can't run from life any longer now that we're all in recovery, and we're all are going to have to face up to some of the parts of life that are not easy for anyone to face up to, but we all can do this now because of what recovery teaches all of us how we can, and what we can do when these things come up. Everything is the same as it ever was the only difference now is how all of us can now handle life like none of us could before without any of us having recovery in our life, so much so that people who don't have recovery in their own life, will ask all of us how are we able to handle life so well ?
