Default P-O-W-E-R Day 14: Wait

P-O-W-E-R Day 14: Wait by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Scripture:
Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Psalm 27:14 NKJV

Today’s Thought:
None of us like to wait, but sometimes it is necessary to wait.
Perhaps it might be for God’s timing, or it might be that He needs to do some work in us to get us ready for the task He wants us to perform.
Whatever the reason, there are times when we will have to just wait on the Lord.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I don’t like to wait.
I am ready to move forward. I have been doing all these things to get ready and finally now when I feel I know what You want me to do, You tell me to “Wait”.
I am wondering why God…but I know I must be obedient to Your word, so I will just wait as You say.
You know best God, for the times are in Your hands. So, I will wait for Your timing, and while I do please help me to be of good courage, strengthen my heart, and keep me focused.
Build me up as it says in Isaiah, renew my strength, so that I will be able to run and walk and do good works for You when the time is right.

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

Today’s Action:

Wait for His perfect timing.
Remain until He tells you to go.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
