SPIRITUAL VITAMIN Z : ZEALOUS

“But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always,…”
Galatians 4:18 NKJV

Today’s Thought:
Dictionary definitions of Zealous:
full of, characterized by, ardently active, devoted, or diligent.

Paul is telling the Galatians to always be zealous for the good things that God has prepared for them to do, not just when he is around, but at all times in every situation they might be in. Let’s learn from this truth and apply it to our own lives.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

Today’s Action:
Today let’s take our Spiritual Vitamin Z and:

Let us be full of a good thing always.
Let us be characterized by a good thing always.
Let us be ardently active in a good thing always.
Let us be devoted to a good thing always.
Let us be diligent in a good thing always

Let us zealously seek to know what the good works are that God has prepared for us to do, and ask Him to give us the wisdom and strength to zealously walk in them for His glory.

ZEALOUS for Spiritual Gifts
Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts,
let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.
1 Cor.14:12

ZEALOUS for God
Paul said he was zealous toward God.”I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel,
taught according to the strictness of our fathers’ law,
and was zealous toward God as you all are today. Acts 22:3

ZEALOUS to Obey the Lord
Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day; Prov.23:17
