Default Heart for the Lord Day 24

Heart for the Lord Day 24 by SGLY Ministry

The Lord’s words to Josiah, King of Judah: ”because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they would become a desolation and a curse, and you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you” 2 Kings 22:19 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
A Tender Heart is one that is soft and pliable.

It is a heart that God can mold and use for His purposes.
It is a heart that is acutely sensitive to God’s will and way.
It is a heart that humbles itself to the Lord. Let’s ask the Lord to give us a Tender Heart.

Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord, today I ask that You create in me a Tender Heart. I want a Tender Heart like Josiah, King of Judah, had. One that is humble and gentle, one that is sensitive to Your will and way, for then You will hear me and cause my heart to be a vessel that beats for You. I want a Tender Heart that is soft and pliable, one that You can mold for Your use. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
