LIVING IN THE LIGHT

Many people stumble in the dark. There a few who can see well enough to move around but most of us need a little light to make our way through the darkness without any issues. When we try to get around in the dark, we may get lost, we may fall or hurt ourselves. So most of the time we make sure we have a light of some kind so we can see our way. God wants to be our Light. He wants us to live in His Light. With His Light we can see the way He wants us to live and we can live a holy and acceptable life for Him.

1 John 1:7 “But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, the choices we make sometimes lead us to darkness. The decisions we face can take us down the wrong path in life if we don’t come to You for answers. We want to live in Your Light, Lord. Show us Your way. Show us Your path. Give us Your Light so we will know where to go and how to best live for You. We want to live a holy and acceptable life for You by living in Your Light. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we live in God’s Light, we will be able to see His will for our lives.

God wants us to live for Him and follow His path. That’s why we need to look for His Light in His word.

Jesus came to save us from the darkness of sin. He gave up His life so we would have Light and be able to live a holy life for God.

When we are faced with difficult decisions, God’s Light can show us the right way to go.

With God’s light we can live a holy and acceptable life for Him.

Romans 12:1 “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” (NLT)

Focus: God’s Light is always on for us to find the right way to go to live a holy life.
