Default Will you choose to be a rebuilder or be owned by bitterness?

Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes. (NLT) Isaiah 58:12

Living in a broken world means bad things happen to us. We have the choice of allowing those bad things to take shape in our heart and become deserted ruins. Or we can choose to pick up the pieces, confront, forgive, extend grace, and heal. Through a relationship with Christ, you have the power to rebuild families, overcome hurts, and restore relationships. Will you choose to be a rebuilder or be owned by bitterness?

Default

When I came into recovery, I had nothing to show for 49 years of living. I not only lost material things, but ever time I picked up, I lost a piece of myself.

I had to rebuild my life. I had to find a spiritual solution to fill up that void within, because I had used people, places, and things all of my life to complete me. I had to rebuild on a solid foundation, and through AA, I found the God of my understanding. I thought I knew who God was, I had been told who He was all of my life. I had to find out who He was to me and make a spiritual connection to put my life back together again.
