It's not that it's new, it's just that it's new to us, and we all find this out when we decide to finally join recovery and begin to do the things it suggest that we do, and when we do all of us begin to be able to see things differently, different from what all of us were seeing before, but nothing changed, only we have changed. The difference is we can now all see what we couldn't see before that's always been there and always will be there for everyone to see. The question has been and always will be, do we want to see things differently from what we're seeing now, or do we just want to go on seeing things as they are. There's a world of difference between these two but only we get to decide what we are going to be looking at, and what each of us will see. This is left up to all of us. No one is ever going to be able to make us see things differently. We all have got to want to do this for ourselves and we all can, and we all have the ability to this to be able to see things differently, but not all of us will, only those of us who want to will be able to do this, and then they too, will be able to see what has always been there for everyone to see.
