All of us are on different paths to the same destination. Being open to this idea means for us to allow each other to have our own path to recovery. If we can do this without us having to criticize or judge someone else's path then all of us will be able to have our own path to what it is we all need. All paths to recovery are not the same just as we're all different from one another. All of us will need to be on our own path to get recovery and when we can allow others to do the same thing then all of us will be able to get there and see that we all need to follow our own path. Some of the paths that work for some won't work for others and vice versa what really matters the most for all of us is the destination and not the many different paths that all of us have to take in order to get there. All of us can instinctively see when someone else is on the wrong path to getting what it is they need, but none of us are able to see this for ourselves. This is where we all can help each other to make sure we're all headed in the right direction to getting what it is we all need.
