Default Turning to God for Deliverance and Salvation

Turning to God for Deliverance and Salvation by Alive to God

TURNING TO GOD FOR DELIVERANCE

One of the aspects that we can turn to God for is for deliverance. There are times when we need help in the form of deliverance. To be delivered is to be saved and set free or rescued. If this is what you need then there is someone to whom you can turn to find it!

Jonah 2:9 “I will never worship anyone but you! For how can I thank you enough for all you have done? For my deliverance comes from the Lord alone.”

God wants to be your deliverer.

Psalm 144:2 He is always kind and loving to me; he is my fortress, my tower of strength and safety, my deliverer.

TURNING TO GOD FOR SALVATION.

I recently heard a journalist speaking and she said something along these lines: ‘We may not believe in God, but at times like these we all look to a higher being for salvation.’ We can turn to and look to God for the salvation we need. According to the dictionary, salvation includes preservation from loss and preservation from calamity. When we are facing destruction, we can turn to God for salvation.

Psalm 37:39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble.

Psalm 16:1 Save me, O God, because I have come to you for refuge.

Psalm 70:5 But I am in deep trouble. Rush to my aid, for only you can help and save me. O Lord, don’t delay.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
