Default Learning the Secret

Learning the Secret

I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. (from Phi 4:11)

Look, it does not say that we enter into every circumstance contented. But in that circumstance where we are not content- that's where the Lord would teach me and you to go through it in Him. (Let us remember Christian to trust the Lord and His promise so that we do not become discouraged)

You can learn in whatever situation to be content. 'I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.' (Phi 4:13) This great and valuable secret is learned by practice as we are willing to believe that it is true for each of us individually.

Whether or not we can change the circumstance is one thing. But regardless, we can find contentment because our rest is in Jesus. We are learning. Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, thank You for sending Your Spirit to lead us into Your rest. Help me to surrender to You, to abide in You whether through trouble or in joy.

Open my eyes to Your grace- to treasure Your presence in the secret place of my heart, learning to abide in You through everything. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (Isa 26:3)

We have God's Word on it.

They say in recovery, that we are only as sick as our secrets. Have we told God about all of them?
