Default Just For Today Day 13

Just For Today Day 13 by SGLY Ministry

Just for Today I will put off all…NEGLIGENCE
Do not neglect the gift that is in you…
1 Timothy 4:14 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
Paul told Timothy not to neglect the gift of grace that had been given to him.

Hezekiah told the priests and Levites in 2 Chronicles 29:11 …do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him.

So we also need to remind ourselves that the Lord has chosen us to do the good works He has prepared for us to do and we should not neglect the gifts and blessings He has given to us to accomplish this work.

For, As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10 (NKJV)

Just for Today, let’s take note of the spiritual gifts and blessings we have received in Christ and begin to use them in service to the Lord.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear Lord,I do not want to ever neglect the gifts You have given me, those most treasured gifts of grace, faith and love that I have received from You in Christ.
I do not want to neglect the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit who resides within me. I want to hold fast to all I have been given.
So please Lord, I pray for Your help, Just for Today, so that I will not be neglectful of any of the gifts and blessings You have given to me, but I will use them as You intend, for Your glory.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
